... is a fast-growing tech startup from the industrial region of East Westphalia-Lippe that has set out to lead the generational change in the servicing of industrial machinery and equipment.

To this end, we have developed the first AI-supported knowledge platform for industrial services. Thanks to this solution, our customers can collect and structure the expert knowledge of their experienced service employees and make it available to all employees—for excellent fault diagnosis and sustainable problem solving.

To further drive our growth, we are looking for you as a Key Account Manager (m/f/d) for digital solutions in the industrial environment. The position is full-time (40 hours) and can be filled remotely anywhere in Germany. You will mainly work from home and travel to appointments in Herford or directly to our customers as needed.

Your mission

  • You strategically and operationally manage key customer accounts and continuously develop these relationships over the long term.
  • You analyze customer structures, identify growth opportunities, and work closely with stakeholders to develop concrete measures for improving and expanding the collaboration.
  • You proactively identify new business opportunities within existing accounts and acquire selected new customers for findIQ.
  • You support our Sales Managers as a trusted sparring partner in complex sales projects and contribute your expertise to customer discussions and strategic sales initiatives.
  • You organize and facilitate product demonstrations, workshops, and presentations, ensuring that customers fully understand and successfully leverage the value of our solutions.
  • You ensure the successful implementation of our solutions at customer sites and coordinate internal and external project stakeholders effectively.
  • You actively monitor market developments, identify emerging challenges at an early stage, and position findIQ as a strategic partner with the right solutions.
  • You contribute to the further development of our customer strategy with an entrepreneurial mindset and actively help shape processes and structures within Customer Success.
  • Depending on your qualifications and interests, you may have the opportunity to take on leadership responsibilities and build your own team in the future.

What we expect

  • At least 5 years of experience in Key Account Management, Account Management, or technical sales, ideally within the machinery manufacturing industry or a comparable industrial environment.
  • Experience in both developing and expanding existing customer relationships and acquiring new customers.
  • Experience in project management, particularly in managing complex customer projects.
  • International experience is an advantage.
  • Experience working with digital solutions, ideally in industrial or technical environments.
  • Strong technical understanding and a genuine interest in machinery, equipment, and industrial processes.
  • A passion for developing customer relationships, identifying business opportunities, and convincing customers of innovative solutions.
  • A strong hands-on mentality combined with a willingness to take ownership and drive initiatives independently.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally to customer sites in Germany and abroad (approximately 20% travel).
  • Very good German and English language skills, both written and spoken. Additional languages are a plus.
  • Strong customer focus, professional presence, and the ability to engage effectively with a wide range of stakeholders.
  • A structured, independent working style and a strong track record of execution.
  • High level of initiative, entrepreneurial thinking, and the ability to identify and pursue opportunities consistently.
  • Team spirit, reliability, and the ability to prioritize effectively in a dynamic environment.
  • A desire to take responsibility and actively contribute to the growth and success of a rapidly expanding company.
